Smoked Salmon Bagel with Charred Scallion Cream Cheese

  • Bagels
  • Charred Scallion Cream Cheese
  • 1 large bunch scallions, ends trimmed
  • 16 ozs cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  1. Lightly oil a grill pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Place whole scallions on grill, and grill for 5-10 minutes, turning every minute or so, until all sides are grilled and beginning to lightly char.
  3. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
  4. Remove ends, and dice remaining scallions, white and green parts.
  5. Combine softened cream cheese and diced scallions in a mixer until well combined.


To Assemble

  1. Toast bagels as desired.
  2. Spread charred scallion cream cheese on half of a toasted bagel.
  3. Top with cucumber, tomato, smoked salmon, Mezzetta Capote Capers, red onions.
