  • Cocktail Sauce:
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup horseradish
  • 2 lemons juiced
  • Dash of tabasco sauce
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Shrimp:
  • 2 lbs thawed shrimp
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • 1/2 cup old bay
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp black peppercorns
  1. Combine all cocktail sause ingredients in bowl and whisk, chill and serve when ready.
  2. Fill a pot 3/4 of the way with water. Add all the shrimp spices into the water and bring to a boil.
  3. Cook the shrimp for 4 to 5 minutes in the boiling water, remove with tongues and place in ice water until cold, about 3 minutes.
  4. Need 2-quart bowl with ice and water to shock the cooked shrimp.
  5. Place on platter and serve with sauce.
