Fresh Cranberry Sauce with Orange

  • 1 lb frozen or fresh cranberries
  • 3/4 cup apple cider
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp clove
  • 1/4 tsp all spice
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  1. Place all ingredients in a medium sized saucepan and bring to a boil over medium high heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes. Berries will begin to open.
  2. Remove from heat and cool; refrigerate until ready to serve.
