  • 1 fresh Burrata cheese ball or fresh mozzarella cheese ball
  • 2 tomatoes - sliced or cut into small wedges
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 garlic cloves - chopped
  • Olive oil
  • Cornmeal
  • 1 homemade or store bought pizza dough (divided - usually makes 2 pizzas) rolled out to 12-14 inches
  1. Prepare pizza oven or heat grill on high heat with pizza stone.
  2. Prepare all ingredients and have ready to assemble pizza.
  3. Prepare pizza on pizza peel or pan - dust with cornmeal for easy transfer to oven.
  4. Gently brush dough with olive oil, dot with garlic, pinch pieces of barrata cheese and place around dough, followed by tomato wedges.
  5. Slide pizza into oven or onto hot stone and cook until cheese is melted and sides are crispy and brown about 4-6 minutes.
  6. Finish pizza with a drizzle of olive oil and fresh basil.
  7. Slice and serve with Duckhorn Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, or Rose - Migration, Calera or Decoy Wines.
