· Deep, mountain fruit aromas of plum, wild berry, cherry pie, cinnamon, clove and tobacco abound
· The rich aromas are echoed on the palate with concentrated flavors of plum, boysenberry and dark raspberry, underscored by vanilla and cinnamon spice
· A powerful wine with broad, rich tannins that continue through the mid-palate providing great length and excellent ageability
Production
· An unusually dry growing season with rainfall totals that were 50 percent below average
· Cool, even weather produced a long harvest spread out over several months
· The relaxed pace allowed picking in multiple passes, ensuring ideal ripeness and flavor development
